TEAM REGISTRATION IS $175
LIMITED TO 16 TEAMS
NO GLASS CONTAINERS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCE
TEAM CHECK IN AT 10:30 AM
VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT BEGINS AT 11:00AM AND TEAMS CAN START PLAYING AT THAT TIME. TEAMS CAN SHOW UP AFTER THAT TIME AND BEGIN PLAYING AS SOON AS THEY ARRIVE BUT PLEASE BE AWARE THAT YOUR TEAM MAY NEED TO PLAY BACK TO BACK GAMES IN ORDER TO CATCH UP WITH THE OTHER TEAMS WHO HAVE ALREADY PLAYED. THIS MAY PUT YOUR TEAM AT A DISADVANTAGE.
TEAMS MAY BE ANY MIX OF MALE AND/OR FEMALE PARTICIPANTS.
TEAMS MUST PROVIDE CAPTAIN’S NAME AS CONTACT PERSON FOR DAY OF EVENT.
EACH TEAM CAN HAVE A MINIMUM OF 4 & A MAXIMUM OF 10 PLAYERS; ONLY 6 PLAYERS FROM EACH TEAM ALLOWED ON THE COURT AT ONE TIME.
TEAMS WILL PLAY IN A “ROUND ROBIN” FORMAT. TEAMS THAT WIN THEIR RESPECTIVE ROUND ROBIN BRACKET WILL ADVANCE TO PLAY IN A SINGLE ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT.
AFTER THE FIRST ROUND ROBIN CIRCUIT IS COMPLETE, WINNERS WILL GO TO SINGLE ELIMINATION IN THE SECOND ROUND. AFTER EACH GAME YOU PLAY, PLEASE CHECK IN AT THE VOLLEYBALL TENT TO INDICATE A WIN OR A LOSS
RALLY SCORING WILL BE USED; A POINT WILL BE AWARDED AT EVERY SERVE. A TEAM DOES NOT HAVE TO BE SERVING TO SCORE.
DURING THE SERVE, THE BALL IS PLAYABLE IF IT CONTACTS THE NET & CROSSES TO THE OPPONENT’S COURT. AFTER THE SERVE, THE BALL IS PLAYABLE WHENEVER IT CONTACTS THE NET.
THE FIRST TEAM TO 21 POINTS WINS; TEAM DOES NOT HAVE TO WIN BY 2 POINTS.
EACH TEAM WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING A LINE JUDGE DURING EACH GAME. LINE JUDGES CANNOT BE ON THE SAME TEAM, OR ON TEAMS FROM THE SAME COMPANY; THEY CAN BE VOLUNTEERS FROM OTHER TEAMS OR BYSTANDERS.
EACH TEAM WILL BE ANNOUNCED 3 TIMES WHEN IT’S THEIR TURN TO PLAY. IT IS THE TEAM’S RESPONSIBILITY TO BE WITHIN RANGE OF HEARING THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. FAILURE TO REPORT WITHIN 5 MINUTES WILL RESULT IN A FORFEIT OF THEIR MATCH. NO PHONE CALLS OR TEXTS WILL BE MADE BY THE OFFICIAL.
WATER WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PLAYERS AT BEVERAGE STATION.
FREE FOOD WILL BE SERVED IN THE FOOD COURT BY OUR COOK-OFF TEAMS.
TEAM ENTRY FEE INCLUDES (6) T-SHIRTS TO BE PICKED UP AT THE REGISTRATION TABLE UPON ARRIVAL WITH WRISTBANDS.
TEAM LEADERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF THEIR TEAM MEMBERS. THOSE TEAMS EXHIBITING EXCESSIVE ALCOHOL OR CONFRONTATIONS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE AND NOT INVITED BACK NEXT YEAR. AT THE DISCRETION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
