No Glass Containers or Styrofoam! Its a Park Policy & will be strictly enforced.

NEW AAFAME POLICY: No open carry of firearms allowed!

Parking is available in the lot next to the tournament field (limited and fills fast) and there are overflow lots on the road leading into the park. Parking lot is for vehicle parking only; no one is allowed to set up any displays or distribute any materials from the parking lots.

We will have golf carts running from 10:00AM until the 6:00PM.

Canopy tents (10X10 suggested) are allowed at the event as long as they are setup in the designated areas. We have limited tents and sitting space available. Only the upper level Sponsors and Property Management companies are allowed to set up tents near the Volleyball / Horseshoes / Washers areas.

Bring sunscreen and chairs.

We love pets. That’s why we are asking that people leave their pets to relax at home. The large crowds that come to the Chili Slam can overwhelm Fido, so we recommend that you give your best friend the day off. Pets are not allowed on the event grounds so please leave you furry friends at home.

The only music allowed to be played is by event DJ.

No generators are allowed in the general event area due to noise complaints and safety concerns. Only the cook-off area has access to electricity if ordered in advance.

Cook-off teams should review the cook-off rules for more details related to their setup. Cook-off teams set up between 7:30AM – 10:00AM depending on the team type.

Participants for volleyball, horseshoes and washers can arrive at 10:00AM.

Please no Smoking Tobacco as its a Park Ordinance.

No one will be allowed to cook anything in the event area or parking lot unless they have registered as a cook-off team.

Tent placement is available on a first come, first serve basis only to be coordinated by event coordinator prior to event.

Sponsor tents can be set up at 8:00AM. Sponsors will be receive preferred placement.

Food will be available throughout the afternoon provided by the cook-off teams.

Tear down is not allowed until after 5:30PM or close of show – whichever comes first – or disqualified.

Food is free for participants wearing wristbands! If someone doesn’t have a wristband please send them to the entrance gate.

Wristbands are free to AAFAME/BOMA team participants, members and guests.

Wristbands will be distributed at the entrance gates upon arrival to those that are registered in advance. Teams will then proceed to registration tent for team bags. We will not give out lots of wristbands for entire group.

Drinking water will be available onsite in the middle of the food court. Near the large tents in the middle of the cook-off area.

You are able to bring your own snacks and beverages as needed, but only the cook-off teams can prepare cooked foods with cooking sources such as pits or electrical.

Registration opens at 8:00 AM. Teams should check in at registration upon arrival to pick up shirts and to be directed to your respective event(s).

Rides home will be provided for those who may need one; contact security as needed.

We will have security and off-duty police officers onsite during the event, so please don’t drink and drive!

Trash cans will be onsite and we encourage everyone to dispose of items properly.

You must be 21 or older to attend so please leave the little ones at home.

Responsible Drinking!

AAFAME encourages you to drink responsibly. AAFAME and its members are not responsible for your transportation to and/or from the Chili Slam event, however, if you have consumed alcohol and are not able to safely drive, the members of the AAFAME Chili Slam Committee will assist you in making arrangements. Please see a committee member at the event if you require assistance. Should you need to take a taxi home, AAFAME will pay for the taxi and you will be responsible for reimbursement to the organization.
